VId.15    Section Martelleto - Passo de Giudeo   28 km

Once I had my Italian breakfast consisting of tea and a cooky I started out for the day. The sun was shoning and I went mostly uphill along minor roads. There were planty of wind power generators. Arriving at Girifalko I was welcomed amongst others in German. Inside town I enquired about a restaurant for lunch. I was lucky to ask Spaniards. So we could talk for a bit. The fish dishes where very good but turned out to be rather pricy. Well, I got to treat myself once in a while. By now it had become rather hot. Soon out of town I stoped for a while in the shade of a nice tree. Here I had a nice view of the Mediterranean Sea. Towards evening I passed by a large picnic site named Montecovello with a fountain. I could refill my water bottles. By now I was back at about 900m elevation and soon found a good site for the night. After having set up my tent I had my dinner.
