The tents got dry over night and we had a quiet night. The hike starte nice and mostly downhill along forested trails until arriving at road D3. At nearby Moulin Lauga we went just off the main road to an advertised refuge. As it was hot in the valley we went inside for a self service break of icecream and soda. Freshly rested we nevertheless decided to take the easy way and followed a sideroad instead of climbing up to a ridge out of the valley. The road went along the river L'Alot. At Les Ribaroles we stopped at a food truck restaurant by the river. Here we had a good lunch. We continued along the road until Le Trein Ustoi. From here we finally had to get auf of the valley and climbed along a steep tough road. In the woods below the skying area of Col de Latrape we found a spot for the night. This was another sunny and hot day.
